Responsibilities 

• Must be able to recognize key details in a patient record to apply the appropriate codes 

• Should have worked on HCC projects 

• Reviews the documentation in patients’ medical records and translates the same into universally accepted, industry-standard medical codes. 

• Understand basic coding guidelines and ability to interpret Super bills & Medical records for ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS 

• To code charts based on standard coding tools (AAPC coding manuals & Super coder) 

• To check with Team Leader for any client updates 

• Meeting all set productivity and quality targets including TAT 

• Identify issues and escalate the same to the Team Leader/Manager 

• Update Production logs 

• Adherence to company policies, rules, and regulations 

• To follow quality processes using checklists 

• Adherence to HIPAA guidelines  
   
   

Eligibility: 

To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the following qualification criteria:  

• 2+ years experience in medical coding 

• 1.5-2 year experience in HCC coding/ 

Job Location : Bengaluru  

Work Mode : Work from office  

Shift : Night Shift (9:00 pm- 6:00 am)
